About Echoland
Winter is a powder paradise,
Summer is a mountain retreat.
Echoland Madarao is a lodge located in the Madarao Highlands, which straddles the border between Iiyama City in Nagano Prefecture and Myoko City in Niigata Prefecture. It is marked by a large green roof.
It is the closest lodge to the Numanohara Wetlands and Lake Nozomi, and it is conveniently located about a 3-minute drive from the Madarao Kogen Ski Resort.
The lodge is equipped with free Wi-Fi throughout the entire building and has floor heating. All seven rooms have separate bathrooms and toilets.
Additionally, there is a snowboard/ski drying room, a spacious lounge, and a bar. While surrounded by nature, the lodge provides a comfortable and secure environment for guests to relax.
Story
"Echoland" is named after Echo*, Takashi's wife and a piano teacher. Just as he pours love into Echo, Takashi hopes that "Echoland" will become a beloved place for many.
Each of the seven guest rooms has a unique name, as follows:
-
201_Treble Cone (Treble Cone, 🇳🇿 NZ)
-
202_Brighton (Brighton, 🇺🇸 USA)
-
203_Whistler (Whistler, 🇨🇦 Canada)
-
205_Chamonix (Chamonix, 🇫🇷 France)
-
206_Verbier (Verbier, 🇨🇭 Switzerland)
-
207_Arlberg (Arlberg, 🇦🇹 Austria)
-
208_Dolomites (Dolomites, 🇮🇹 Italy)
These names are inspired by Takashi's favorite ski resorts that he visited during his around-the-world snowboarding journey.
Currently, some rooms feature slope maps of these ski resorts, and the goal is to eventually have these maps in every room (haha).
